Reading the site
You do not need an account to read our articles. Our hosting infrastructure processes information needed to deliver and protect the website, including IP addresses, requested URLs, timestamps and browser information. Server and security logs support troubleshooting and protection against abuse.
Optional analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand visits and article readership only when you choose Accept analytics. Until then, our Analytics integration does not load Google’s tag or set Analytics cookies. Declining does not prevent you from reading the site.
When enabled, Google receives information about your page visits, browser and device and processes network information associated with those requests. Our integration excludes URL query strings and fragments, sends no referrer value, and does not enable advertising features or enhanced form and outbound-link measurement. We do not send your name or email address to Analytics.
Analytics cookies and your consent preference are configured to last up to six months. You can withdraw consent at any time using Cookie settings at the bottom of a public page. Withdrawal disables future Analytics collection in that browser and clears the Analytics cookies set on this site’s domain. Clearing browser storage removes the saved preference. Google may process information in other countries. Read Google’s privacy policy and how Google uses information from sites using its services.
Newsletter subscriptions
New newsletter signups and newsletter promotions are currently disabled while we prepare email delivery. Existing subscription records are retained; this launch does not enroll readers or enable newsletter broadcasts.
Administrator accounts
Administrator sign-in uses essential authentication and security cookies. Public account registration is disabled. Account information is accessible to authorized administrators for site operation and security.
Links to other websites
Our articles link to original sources and other websites. Following those links takes you to services with their own privacy practices.
Your choices
You can decline or withdraw optional Analytics consent through Cookie settings, and manage stored cookies through your browser. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct or erase personal information. We retain operational information where needed for site security, administration or legal obligations.
